Quality Process

We follow the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system. The quality process typically involves several key steps:

  • Quality Policy: Establishing a clear quality policy that outlines the organization’s commitment to meeting customer requirements and continually improving its processes.
  • Quality Objectives: Setting specific, measurable objectives that align with the organization’s quality policy and overall business goals.
  • Quality Planning: Developing plans and procedures to ensure that products or services consistently meet customer requirements. This may include defining quality criteria, identifying resources needed, and establishing processes for monitoring and measuring quality.
  • Quality Control: Implementing processes to monitor and verify that products or services meet specified quality standards. This may involve inspection, testing, and analysis to identify and address any deviations from requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Establishing systems and procedures to ensure that quality requirements are met throughout the entire production or service delivery process.
    This may include training staff, documenting procedures, and conducting internal audits to identify and correct any quality issues.

Certification

Safety Standards

ISO 9001:2000, a widely recognized quality management standard, does not specify safety standards explicitly. Instead, it focuses on quality management systems (QMS) to ensure
organizations consistently meet customer requirements and continually improve their processes. However, while ISO 9001:2000 primarily addresses quality management, it
indirectly promotes workplace safety through various clauses and requirements. These include:

  • Risk Assessment: ISO 9001:2000 requires organizations to identify and assess risks related to their processes, products, and services. This includes considering safety risks to employees, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Training and Competence: The standard mandates organizations to provide necessary training and ensure the competence of personnel involved in quality-related activities. This may encompass safety training to mitigate risks associated with workplace hazards.
  • Control of Nonconforming Products or Services: ISO 9001:2000 requires organizations to establish procedures for identifying, segregating, and controlling nonconforming products or services. This can include products or services that pose safety hazards.
  • Emergency Preparedness and Response: Organizations are expected to establish procedures for identifying potential emergency situations and implementing plans to respond effectively. This may involve addressing safety-related emergencies such as fires, chemical spills, or workplace accidents.
  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance: ISO 9001:2000 requires organizations to comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements related to their products, services, and operations. This includes safety regulations aimed at protecting employees and other stakeholders.

While ISO 9001:2000 does not specify safety standards in detail, we integrate safety considerations into their quality management systems to ensure a safe working environment and mitigate risks to personnel and stakeholders.
